Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facility buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and requesting additional assistance when appropriate.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, helping maintain an orderly environment for patient care and facility operations.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders.
