Responsibilities

• HHA to assist and train patients/clients and families in activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, skin care, oral hygiene, toileting, and ensuring adequate nutritional intake.
• HHA to assist with ambulation, transfers, and range of motion exercises.
• Support incidental/instructional activities of daily living, including shopping, meal preparation, socialization, homemaking, and maintaining a clean, safe physical environment.
• HHA to provide medication reminders as needed.
• HHA to accurately document observations, activities, and services provided in a timely manner.
• Complete mandatory in-services and submit requested documents to keep team member files up to date.
