Qualicare Home Care is seeking dedicated caregivers to join our in-home care team serving the greater Boston area. You will work under supervision to provide essential personal care services and support to clients in their homes.

Qualifications

• Must have a Care Aide certificate or be willing to obtain it.
• Documented caregiving experience is preferred.
• Current CPR/First Aid training or willingness to obtain.
• Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray.
• Ability to travel to clients across location territory.
• Access to Internet or mobile phone for scheduling and communication.

Responsabilités

• Assist with personal care and hygiene.
• Prepare meals according to dietary needs.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks.
• Accompany clients on outings.
• Run errands and shop for clients.
• Provide medication reminders/assistance.
• Assist with mobility and transport as needed.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Follow care plans and document activities.

Job Summary

The Caregiver is a member of the home care team who works under the supervision of the Care Coordinator and performs various personal care services as necessary to meet the client’s needs.

Responsibilities

• Assistance with personal care and hygiene
• Meal Preparation
• Light Housekeeping
• Accompany clients on outings
• Shopping and errands
• Medication Assist/ Reminders
• Ambulation and transporting of clients
• Provide companionship to clients
• Ability to follow care-plan
• Documentation/Charting

Qualifications

• Have Certified Care Aide Certificate or equivalent (preferable). If you don't have this, we can help you with it.
