Job summary

Community Horizons is seeking a dependable Saturday overnight caregiver for a young woman in Plover, WI. You will provide safety support, stay with her overnight, and assist only when needed during the 9pm–6am shift in a calm, independent environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience with suprapubic catheter care and ceiling lifts, be comfortable around cats, and respect the member's independence and privacy while communicating clearly and compassionately.

Qualifications

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Community Horizons is assisting a young lady in Plover with hiring a dependable Saturday overnight caregiver. This member is very independent and simply needs someone present overnight who can assist only when needed. If you're calm, reliable, and comfortable supporting someone who values her independence, this is a great fit.

Schedule Weekend Overnights 9pm to 6am

About the Member

• Young woman living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS)
• Very independent and directs her own care
• Friendly home environment
• Cats in the home, so you must be comfortable with pets

Support Needed

• You will primarily be there for safety and occasional assistance.
• Tasks may include:
• Helping with repositioning or transfers when needed
• Assisting with bathroom needs as needed
• Light support with comfort or mobility
• Being available if assistance is requested during the night

Required Experience

• Super pubic catheter care
• Ceiling lift experience
• Comfort working with individuals with physical disabilities
• Must be okay with cats

Compensation

• Paid through Wisconsin's Self-Directed Services program
• 16.32/Hour
