Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Food Clerk to join our team in a fast-paced, customer‑focused environment. You’ll help create a fresh, welcoming store experience within Fresh departments, stocking, merchandising, and assisting customers with product selection.

You’ll work Sunday through Wednesday, with weekly pay and benefits through our Meijer Rewards program, and opportunities for growth and advancement. Previous retail or food service experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates.
• Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need.
• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays.
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards.
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
