Job summary

Hy-Vee, Inc. is seeking a Night Stocker to support the overnight crew in keeping shelves full and organized for the morning rush. You will unload trucks, stock and rotate product, and help customers while maintaining store standards.

No prior experience is required; we provide training. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced overnight environment and enjoys teamwork.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; training provided.
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Able to use basic math and communicate with customers.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly and helping them find what they need
• Assist customers with finding products, reaching items, carrying heavy purchases, and passing along feedback or requests to the team
• Unload trucks, stock shelves, rotate product to ensure freshness
• Monitor for mis-picked items, product outs, and wrong deliveries, and report issues accordingly
• Organize stock for greatest efficiency and clean and restock damaged items
• Tag shelves with overstock in the back room and understock drawers
• Report new or different items to the scanning coordinator for system input
• Work alongside teammates to ensure a smooth, efficient overnight operation
• Maintain dress code, hygiene standards, and all company policies
• Assist in other store areas and take on special projects as needed
• Receive direction from Store Director, Store Manager, and Night Stock Manager
