Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a customer-focused Team Member to assist in overnight receiving, stocking, and merchandising. You will ensure product quality, prepare back stock, and maintain shelves while providing courteous service to customers and Team Members.

Responsibilities include inventory handling, waste sorting, invoice processing during receiving, and supporting various shifts. A strong work ethic and willingness to learn are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to department standards.
• Ability to perform basic math for inventory and pricing tasks.
• Commitment to customer service and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Checks product to ensure it meets quality standards.
• Accurately sorts and scans waste.
• Maintains production standards and stocking levels.
• Stocks and cleans shelves, bins, and food preparation areas.
• Maintains back stock in good order.
• Handles invoices for deliveries outside receiving hours.
• Reports miss-picks to leadership.
• Receives product from receiving to sales floor or back stock.
• Assist overnight deliveries for other teams.
• Arrives on time and participates in trainings and meetings.
• Provides excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling techniques.
• Maintains clean, safe, and sanitary work areas and equipment.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties with accurate pricing.
• Reports safety hazards promptly.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
