Job summary

Albertsons Companies is seeking a Head Stocker to lead stock crews, oversee replenishment, and maintain inventory accuracy across the store. You will train clerks, ensure shelves are well-presented, and support store goals through efficient stocking and merchandising practices.

The role emphasizes customer service, safety, and teamwork in a fast-paced retail environment. Experience in grocery/retail stocking and strong organizational skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous grocery, retail, warehouse, or stocking experience preferred.
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Basic understanding of merchandising and inventory practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily stocking activities to ensure merchandise is replenished accurately and efficiently.
• Verify proper product rotation and adherence to inventory control procedures.
• Assist with unloading deliveries and processing incoming merchandise.
• Monitor product levels and identify replenishment needs.
• Train, coach, and support stock clerks in proper stocking procedures and company standards.
• Provide courteous and professional assistance to customers.
• Maintain clean aisles, backroom areas, and storage locations.
• Follow and enforce company safety policies and procedures.
