Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Analyst to work in a 24/7 intelligence center, delivering tailored intelligence to decision makers and business partners. The role focuses on detecting incidents that may affect AbbVie personnel, assets, and reputation, with overnight shifts and rotating schedules.

The candidate should have 3+ years in security/ Intel environments, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to communicate effectively under pressure.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with at least 3 years of experience in a security center or similar environment.
• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
• Experience in corporate security, intelligence community, law enforcement or the military.
• Flexibility to work all shifts, and willingness to overtime when needed.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast paced and at times stressful work environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable with high-tech work environment while regularly learning new tools and innovations.

Responsibilities

• Author strategic intelligence assessments and reports that represent potential impact to AbbVie personnel, assets, and reputation.
• Monitor various information sources to detect potential risks globally.
• Monitor travel safety and security of AbbVie’s business travelers.
• Support the Business Risk Intelligence team with intelligence reporting to tailor monitoring.
• Follow procedures for writing standards and review reports for consistency.
• Brief senior decision-makers on global trends and events with business impact focus.
• Collaborate with the GSOC network to provide incident awareness and crisis support.
• Provide support to Global Security Investigations, Protective Services and other partners.
• Manage individual projects and serve as security systems platform administrator.
• Gather and prepare metrics to drive decision making.
