Job summary

SUPER 8 OF LINCOLN, NE is seeking a dedicated Night Auditor/Front Desk Agent to join our team. You will balance front desk operations, assist guests, and perform nightly reconciliation while delivering friendly service.

The ideal candidate has experience in hospitality, strong math and problem solving, and proficiency with hotel reservation systems. This full-time overnight position requires excellent customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.

Qualifications

• Experience as Night Auditor or similar hospitality role.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Excellent math and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and hotel reservation systems.
• Detail-oriented with multitasking and time management.
• Ability to stay calm and professional under pressure.
• Available to work overnight shifts.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Stable work history preferred.

Responsibilities

• Check in guests, answer phones and take reservations.
• Respond to guest complaints, requests and emergencies.
• Process invoices, post checks to vendors and distribute employee checks.
• Reconcile accounts.
• Balance the cash drawer and log receipts.
• Investigate and resolve out-of-balance accounts.
• Keep accurate financial records and ledgers.
• Help prepare for forecasts and audits.
• Handle guest check-ins, check-outs, room assignments, and special requests.
• Take, modify, and cancel reservations according to hotel policies.
• Follow proper credit and cash handling procedures.
• Resolve guest concerns and assist with customer inquiries; provide information about hotel services and local attractions.
• Maintain key inventory and request re-keying as needed.
• Verify accuracy of guest registration and payment details.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the General Manager
