Job summary

BJs Wholesale Club is seeking a forklift operator to move and load merchandise in a fast-paced club environment. You will inspect equipment, transport pallets, stock shelves, and assist Members with locating items while maintaining safety standards.

The role emphasizes hands-on duties with potential lifting up to 30 pounds and a focus on customer service. Eligibility starts at 18 years of age, with standard training and certification required upon hire.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Prior forklift operating experience preferred, but not required.
• Must successfully complete required training and certification processes.

Responsibilities

• Operates a forklift in a safe and efficient manner.
• Loads and unloads merchandise and materials to and from delivery trucks.
• Inspects forklifts prior to use and follows safety standards.
• Transports merchandise and pallets throughout the club using a pallet jack as needed.
• Stocks and rotates merchandise, ensuring items are fully stocked.
• Greets Members and provides prompt, courteous service.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
