Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. in Hazelwood, MO is seeking a Forklift Operator to move products throughout our distribution center using stand-up forklifts.

This full-time role involves working at heights and maintaining safety standards in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The position offers a starting pay of $20.50 per hour, with benefits starting after 60 days, including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, plus retirement options and other programs.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience operating a forklift and RF scanner is preferred.
• Ability to read, write and understand English for work instructions and safety.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve and transport product to assigned slots.
• Identify product to be selected, sorted, and placed.
• Follow aisle specifications for product sorting and placement.
• Enter assigned product for each shift into the system.
• Work safely to prevent injury to people and damage to products and equipment.
• Other duties may be assigned.
