Job description

Do you have experience driving a forklift, a great attitude, and want to work with a great team? Come join our Shipping and Receiving department! You will work as a team of one on the overnight shift, helping to pull and stage product to ensure accurate and efficient loading during the dayshift.

Preform Solutions is a locally owned and operated company in Sioux Falls, making custom plastic preforms.

JOB DUTIES

1. Work with Shipping Lead/Management to determine priority of trucks to be loaded following day
2. Verify product and quantities of boxes to be loaded via Purchase Order
3. Scan boxes into and out of inventory for accurate tracking using company mobile phone
4. Stage loads for next day shipping/receiving team
5. Operate forklift safely
6. Must have a valid Class A CDL license with experience backing trailers into warehouse docks
7. Hook and drop trailers and back trailers into the docks as needed for staging or to relocate product
8. Occasionally move product to/from offsite warehouse location located a short distance from main worksite
9. Maintain a clean work environment
10. Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Schedule
Training will be Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm for a minimum of two weeks.
Regular shift will be Sunday-Thursday night, 8 hour shift.

COMPENSATION

1. Starting rate of $23.00/hour based on qualifications/experience
