Job summary

Mölnlycke Health Care in Wiscasset, ME, is hiring an Overnight Production Technician for 5:30PM – 5:30AM to operate and monitor production equipment for hydrophilic polyurethane foam.

You will perform quality inspections, record data, and work with a reliable team to meet safety and production targets. Strong detail orientation and basic math and computer skills are required; SAP experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or production preferred but not required.
• Basic computer literacy (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to multitask and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production equipment used to manufacture hydrophilic polyurethane foam.
• Perform quality inspections and testing, ensuring products meet specifications.
• Accurately record production and quality data in computerized systems.
• Package finished goods and prepare product for shipment.
• Work closely with team members, maintenance, quality, and supervisors to meet production targets.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts focused on safety, quality, and efficiency.

Overnight Production Technician 5:30PM – 5:30AM

Wiscasset, ME

$21.75/hr starting + $2.00/hr shift differential (Pay Range $21.75 to $35.00 per hour)

12-hour rotating schedule (3 on / 4 off, 4 on / 3 off)

What You’ll Do

• Operate and monitor production equipment used to manufacture hydrophilic polyurethane foam

What We’re Looking For

• Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality
• Basic mechanical, math, and computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook; SAP a plus)
• Ability to make sound decisions independently and with a team
• Prior manufacturing or production experience preferred, but not required

Physical Requirements

Pre-employment physical, background check, and references required.

• Standing and walking for most of the shift (75%+)
• Regular lifting, pushing, pulling, reaching, and grasping
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Close vision and color vision required
• Ability to wear a respirator
• Ability to work around industrial equipment. This role may not be suitable for individuals with pacemakers due to equipment exposure.

This position's functional demands require working around or near equipment that may be hazardous to individuals with pacemaker equipment.
