Job summary

Molnlycke is seeking an Overnight Production Technician to operate and monitor production equipment for hydrophilic polyurethane foam. The role includes quality inspections, data recording, and packaging finished goods for shipment in a 12-hour rotating schedule.

Team-based environment, focus on safety, quality, and efficiency. Pre-employment checks apply; benefits start day one and a comprehensive PTO/holiday package accompany competitive hourly pay with a shift differential.

Qualifications

• Team-based manufacturing environment experience is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
• Basic mechanical, math, and computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook; SAP is a plus).

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production equipment used to manufacture hydrophilic polyurethane foam.
• Perform quality inspections and testing, ensuring products meet specifications.
• Accurately record production and quality data in computerized systems.
• Package finished goods and prepare product for shipment.
• Work closely with team members, maintenance, quality, and supervisors to meet production targets.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts focused on safety, quality, and efficiency.

Overnight Production Technician 5:30PM - 5:30AM

Wiscasset, ME
$21.75/hr starting + $2.00/hr shift differential (Pay Range $21.75 to $35.00 per hour)
12-hour rotating schedule (3 on / 4 off, 4 on / 3 off)

What You’ll Do

Physical Requirements

• Standing and walking for most of the shift (75%+)
  
• Regular lifting, pushing, pulling, reaching, and grasping
  
• Ability to liftup to 50 lbs
  
• Close vision and color vision required
  
• Ability to wear a respirator
  
• Ability to work around industrial equipment
  This role may not be suitable for individuals with pacemakers due to equipment exposure.
