Job summary

T-Mobile Center in Kansas City is hiring Floor Technicians to handle floor maintenance across the venue, including office spaces, lobbies, restrooms, entrances, stairwells and elevators. You will ensure equipment remains in good working order and have knowledge of floor care chemicals.

The schedule is overnight and flexible based on event start/end times. Responsibilities include operating vacuums and scrubbing/buffing machines, carpet care, and reporting any damages to management.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent and 1–2 years related experience.
• Knowledge of floor care chemicals and maintenance equipment is required.
• Ability to understand and follow written and spoken English instructions.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team.
• Must be able to push/pull and lift around 30 lbs and work extended shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform floor maintenance across office spaces, lobbies, restrooms, entrances, stairwells and elevators.
• Operate vacuums, scrubbing, polishing and buffing machines; perform carpet care where needed.
• Report damage or areas needing attention to management; complete other duties as assigned.
• Interact professionally with staff, clients and guests during events and routine operations.
