Job summary

RADIAS Health is seeking a Mental Health Practitioner Float to provide diverse clinical support across multiple IRTS facilities in Minnesota. This role emphasizes direct client care, crisis intervention, and collaborative treatment planning in community-based settings.

You will join a team focused on rehabilitation, behavioral health treatment, and skill-building to help residents achieve their goals in a structured residential program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Behavioral Sciences or related field.
• 2,000 hours supervised experience working with individuals with Mental Illness and substance abuse treatment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct services to the residents.
• Responsible for providing staff coverage and ensuring the security of the facility and general supervision of the residents.
• Complete all paperwork, reports, and charting contemporaneously and in an organized manner.
• Co-facilitate or facilitate psychoeducational groups.
• Administer medications under the supervision of the facility’s nurse after successful medication test.
• Conduct house meetings for residents with Peer Recovery Specialist.
• Assist therapists in developing treatment plans.
• Attend all team meetings as scheduled.
• Teach and develop independent living skills (relaxation, conversation skills, budgeting, etc.).
• Identify individuals prone to behavior emergencies and assist in developing additional programming.
• Help defuse and de-escalate potential emergencies and assist in developing programming.
• Assist with discharge planning.
