Job summary

zTrip is seeking a skilled Fleet Maintenance Technician for the overnight shift to keep a large North American taxi fleet safe, reliable, and road-ready. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose issues, complete inspections, and troubleshoot using diagnostic tools to minimize downtime.

The role requires experience in automotive/diesel maintenance, the ability to work independently overnight, and a strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Automotive Technician, Diesel Technician, Fleet Technician, or Maintenance Mechanic.
• Strong understanding of vehicle diagnostics, repair procedures, and preventative maintenance.
• Experience working with a variety of vehicle makes and models is a plus.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to lift, bend, stand, and work in an active shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance services on fleet vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and drivability issues.
• Complete inspections to ensure vehicles meet safety and operational standards.
• Troubleshoot vehicle performance concerns using diagnostic equipment and proven repair methods.
• Perform repairs efficiently to minimize vehicle downtime and maximize fleet availability.
• Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe shop environment.
