Job summary

The American Club is seeking an Overnight Custodian for casual part-time hours. This onsite role supports housekeeping with cleaning floors, furnishings, restrooms, and offices, and includes outdoor duties in various weather conditions.

Training is provided and the shift runs 4:00am–8:00am on weekdays and weekends. The position requires a willingness to work early hours and to maintain a high standard of cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Prior custodial experience is helpful but not required.
• High School diploma preferred.
• Staff are thoroughly trained before working independently.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain floors, surfaces, and furnishings.
• Clean restrooms, locker rooms, and office areas as assigned.
• Ensure entrances are kept free of debris and trash is collected.
• Perform outdoor cleaning duties (windows, doors, decks) in various weather.
• Report building defects to the Custodial Services Coordinator.
• Work the overnight 4:00am–8:00am shift during weekdays and weekends.
