Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking energetic event security staff for the Pittsburgh stadium assignment. This part-time role offers flexible scheduling and overnight shifts, with duties spanning entry control, ticket and ID checks, and crowd safety.

The ideal candidate is 18+, has a high school diploma or equivalent, and can pass background/drug checks. Earn while gaining experience in a dynamic event environment with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and able to pass a background check.
• Must have a high school diploma (or equivalent).
• Must pass post-offer drug/alcohol test and driver’s record check as required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
• Ability to work overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist in event day preparation and execution.
• Control access by directing entry, scanning tickets, and verifying wristbands/badges.
• Screen guests with bags, metal detector or x-ray, and verify IDs.
• Protect guests and assets by monitoring for security breaches.
• Escort unruly guests when necessary and respond to crowd issues.
• Greet guests warmly and provide directions to enhance their experience.
