Job summary

Norman Regional Health System seeks an overnight ER Pharmacist to provide clinical and distributive pharmacy services in a fast-paced emergency setting. You will verify and optimize medication orders, prepare and oversee sterile and non-sterile compounds, respond to code and trauma situations, and provide real-time drug information to physicians and nurses.

Working within a collaborative, patient-centered culture, you’ll support safe, evidence-based therapy and contribute to quality initiatives

Responsibilities

• Verify and optimize medication orders in the ER.
• Prepare and supervise sterile and non-sterile compounds.
• Respond to code and trauma situations.
• Provide real-time drug information to physicians and nurses.
• Support antimicrobial stewardship and practice quality initiatives.
• Train ER staff and contribute to departmental quality projects.
