Job description

At SanMar, the work you do makes a difference.

*MUST be able to get trained and work in different departments*

1. Restock, pick, and pack product for customer orders.
2. Load, unload, move, stack, and stage product.
3. Follow directions and adapt to changing priorities or job duties as needed; rotate to other production functions as required.

*MUST be able to come in day shift 12:00PM-8:30PM Monday through Friday for training (one or two weeks), more if necessary.*

*MUST have some experience with cherry picker and order picker.*

Overnight Shift: Sunday - Wednesday, 7:00pm - 5:30am (10-hour shift)

What's the Short Version?

The Equipment Operator locates product using RF units, pulls product from locations, transports it to various departments, processes customer orders, and restocks product into bins.

What Will You Be Doing?

• Operate powered lift equipment with RF units for scanning and movement of product.
• Load, unload, move, stack, and stage product.
• Restock, pick, and pack customer orders.
• Inspect equipment daily; ensure proper use and return in good condition.
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines.
• Complete and maintain SanMar's Lift Operator Certification every three years.

What Are We Looking For?

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of lift operator experience.
• Ability to read, write, and identify colors, sizes, labels, and SKUs.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to follow directions and adapt to changing priorities.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to understand verbal and written instructions.
• Availability for overtime or essential days.

What to Expect
