Delta Sonic is seeking Overnight Equipment Mechanics in Chicago, IL. The role involves performing minor repairs on car wash equipment, maintaining the facility, and supporting new start-ups and renovations.

This is a full-time position with a 4-day work week (Mon-Thu) and overtime potential. Pay ranges from $20.00 to $30.00 per hour, plus an additional $5 per hour overnight differential, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Willingness to work in all weather conditions, indoors and outdoors.
• One to three years of electrical, welding, and plumbing experience preferred.
• Good mechanic knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot problems.
• Ability to work independently or in a team with urgency.
• Ability to stand, walk, and bend for long periods, with or without accommodation.
• Ability to lift heavy weights frequently.

Responsibilities:

Delta Sonic's Overnight Equipment Mechanics are primarily responsible for conducting minor repairs to car wash equipment, property maintenance, light duty construction, new project start-ups, and building and equipment renovations. This is a benefitted, full-time position, with a 4-day work week, Monday-Thursday. The pay range for this position is $20.00-$30.00 per hour, with an additional $5 per hour overnight differential, depending upon experience.

Requirements:

• Willingness to work in all weather conditions, both indoor and outdoor environments
• One to three years of electrical, welding, and plumbing experience is preferred
• Good mechanic knowledge/skills with the ability to troubleshoot problems
• Ability to work both independently or as a team on assigned tasks with a sense of urgency
• Ability to walk, stand, and bend for long periods of time, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to frequently lift heavy amounts of weight, with or without reasonable accommodation
