Qualifications

• Previous experience as a commercial painter is required, hotel experience preferred.
• Ability to brush, roll, spray and work on different textures.
• Patch, float and repair damaged surfaces.
• Work with stains, lacquers, varnishes, epoxy and Bondo.
• Apply caulk and sealant materials.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Interact with hotel guests with professional communication.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and work indoors/outdoors in varying weather.

Responsibilities

JOBPURPOSE:

To ensure a safe, efficient, well-maintained hotel environment while providing maintenance services to guests in a courteous, professional, and engaging manner.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Maintain all public areas, guest rooms, meetingroomsand corridors on an on-going basis including paint, wallpaper and plastering.

• Performs preventive maintenance of guest rooms

• Maintain correct stock/inventory of paint supplies and materials and communicate when replenishment is needed.

• Aid guests inlocatingother areas of the hotel (walk them to destination if possible).

• Have a thorough understanding of fire alarm procedures and emergency evacuation.

• Respond to all requestsfrom guests and associates.

• Assistengineers and mechanics as needed with repairs.

• Keep all work areas clean.

• Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions; complete safety training and certifications.

• Ensure clean uniform and professional personal appearance; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets.

• Performs other duties as needed.
