Pay: $19.50 - $35.50 / hour

This pay band is a starting point and is dependent on experience and advancement through the CareerTrax leveling system.

We also offer competitive shift differential pay for eligible hours worked during nights and weekends.

*Shift differentials are based on a 4-hour minimum.

For example:

  • Mon - Fri: 6pm to 8am = $3.00 Shift Differential
  • Sat & Sun: 6pm to 8am = $4.50 Shift Differential
  • Sat & Sun: 8am to 6pm = $3.00 Shift Differential

Our Emergency and Critical Care Department is looking for an additional Patient Care Coordinator. As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will advocate for clients and patients, playing a vital role in patient care, safety, and client satisfaction. This role involves supporting both patients and clients, especially in stressful situations, ensuring clear communication between the client and clinical staff. You will facilitate client/patient flow between waiting rooms, exam rooms, CSR staff, and clinical staff, and assist with follow-up calls to ensure patients receive the best care.

As the Patient Care Coordinator, you will:

  • Monitor clients in waiting/exam rooms; assist with refreshments and marketing materials; update clients on wait times and patient status
  • Maintain communication with doctors and technical staff to minimize wait times and optimize patient flow
  • Coordinate patient flow between the ER and other specialty departments
  • Manage Cornerstone hospital census
  • Facilitate discharge appointments
  • Manage visit boards and exam rooms for timely visits and discharges
  • Check ER doctor message bin and triage messages; facilitate solutions for clients
  • Follow up with previous ER clients for feedback
