Job summary

Veterinary Emergency Group is seeking a Credentialed Veterinary Technician for the overnight, part-time role in Clearwater, FL. You will join a fast-paced ER team delivering high-quality emergency care, from triage to critical care, while supporting doctors and pet-parents through stressful situations.

You must be credentialed as a veterinary technician, hold an AVMA-accredited education, and have 1+ year of ER or emergency medicine experience. Nights, weekends, and holidays required.

Responsibilities

• Triage and treat emergency patients alongside doctors.
• Perform nursing care, monitoring, anesthesia, and critical care tasks.
• Assist with diagnostics, labs, IVs, blood products, and imaging.
• Maintain accurate EMR and effective handoffs to team.
• Provide compassionate support to pet-parents during stressful moments.
• Collaborate with clinicians to ensure timely, high-quality care.
• Participate in ongoing learning and mentorship to grow clinical skills.
