Job summary

Meijer Inc. is hiring a Food Clerk in Mishawaka, IN to help create a fresh, welcoming store experience across Fresh departments. You’ll connect with customers, share product knowledge, and ensure displays meet company standards.

You’ll stock and rotate items, use technology to complete tasks, and follow food safety procedures. Previous retail or food service experience is helpful but not required; a friendly, customer-first mindset is essential.

What You’ll Do

As a Food Clerk, you play a key role in creating a fresh, welcoming, and well‑run store experience within our Fresh departments.

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates
• Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need
• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
