Job summary

Springbrook NY, Inc. is seeking Direct Support Professionals to assist adults and children with developmental disabilities across educational, residential and community settings.

Full-time and part-time roles are available with day, evening and overnight shifts. A $1,500 sign-on bonus is offered and hourly pay ranges from $19.00 to $21.00 depending on experience and qualifications. Driver’s license and ability to lift 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience working with people with developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including mandatory overtime and overnights.
• Duties require professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word; ability to learn other software.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to people receiving services across educational, residential and community environments.
• Support activities of daily living and promote choice and independence while ensuring safety.
