Job summary

Springbrook NY Inc is hiring Direct Support Professionals to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in educational, residential, and community environments. The role emphasizes ADL support, independence, safety, and strong communication with staff and clients.

We offer full-time and part-time positions with day, evening, and overnight shifts. Pay ranges from $20.00 to $22.00 per hour, depending on experience, plus a $1,500 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with people with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Flexible schedule including overtime and overnights; may be reassigned to other locations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with computer software and e-mail, especially Microsoft Excel/Outlook/Word; willingness to learn more.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and assist with heavier lifts as needed.
• Valid Driver’s License; ability to drive Springbrook vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to people served in educational, residential and community settings.
• Assist with activities of daily living and promote independence and safety.
• Ensure compliance with Springbrook policies and state regulations.
