Lifetime Assistance, Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Professional for the Chili, NY area to provide residential-based support overnight on a full-time schedule. Location: Rochester, NY. Starting wage: $21.55/hour with a $0.50 overnight differential; 40 hours/week, Friday–Monday, 11pm–9am.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; dependable, friendly, caring, trustworthy.
• Must meet Vehicle Operator requirements (except overnight/relief shifts).
• First Aid/CPR, SCIP-R, and Medication Administration cert (or ability to obtain).
• Must pass all background checks and clearances (SCR, Fingerprinting, SEL, MHL).
• Basic computer literacy for documentation in the Electronic Health Record.
• Clear written and verbal communication; strong problem-solving and adaptability.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities.
• Support individuals in developing independence and social skills.
• Ensure health, safety, and well-being, including medication administration if certified.
• Implement and document progress on individualized service plans and daily supports.
• Encourage community integration and participation in activities.
• Drive agency vehicles for transportation as needed.
• Maintain professional communication with individuals, families, and colleagues.
• Complete required training and ongoing professional development.
