Job summary

Northeast Arc in Peabody/Lowell is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for awake overnight shifts. You will provide compassionate, person-centered support to adults with disabilities in our North Shore group homes.

CPR, FA, and MAP Certification are required, a driver’s license is needed, and the role involves lifting up to 50 lbs and assisting with daily activities, medication administration, and community engagement.

Qualifications

• MAP Certification required.
• CPR certification required.
• First Aid (FA) certification required or preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and individualized supports to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Promote independence, community engagement, and meaningful life experiences.
• Assist with daily living activities, personal care, and medication administration.
• Support medical appointments and health-related needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure a safe, supportive home environment.
