Job summary

ReMed, a Collage Rehabilitation Partner, is seeking an Overnight Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support adults with brain injuries in Malvern, PA. This part-time night shift provides hands-on care, daily living assistance, and transportation to appointments in residential programs.

Position requires a high school diploma or GED, age 21+, valid driver's license, and ability to lift 50 lbs. Comprehensive benefits and tuition assistance are offered.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver's license and responsible driving behaviors.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Diplomas from non-U.S. educational institutions must include evaluation confirming equivalence before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide minimum to maximum assistance and supervision to promote clients’ success in daily living tasks, recreational activities, and vocational pursuits.
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene (grooming, bathing, feeding), therapies, and driving and accompanying clients to appointments, activities, and other outings.
• Drive and accompany clients to appointments and other outings.
• Work with medically complicated and behaviorally challenged clients.

For more than 40 years, we’ve developed programs to meet the diverse needs of clients with moderate to severe traumatic and acquired brain injuries. We provide treatment for post-concussion syndrome, stroke, memory loss, neurobehavioral issues and accident or sports-related head injuries.

Hourly Rate: $18-$20 per hour, based on experience and education
