Job summary

Department for Persons with Disabilities (DPD) is seeking a Direct Support Professional overnight to work in our group homes in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. The role includes assisting residents with personal care, medication administration, and daily living activities in a supportive environment.

The position offers full-time hours (40 per week) with shifts primarily Friday through Sunday nights, competitive hourly pay, paid training, and a benefits package including medical, vision, dental, life

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Experience with ID/DD population is a plus.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of CPR/First Aid.

Responsibilities

• Help meet the personal health, safety and welfare of residents in the group home.
• Assist with personal care tasks and supervise daily living activities.
• Administer and/or assist with medication administration.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers and residents.
• Drive residents to/from day programs and community activities.
• Daily documentation of services provided.
• Assist with community-based activities.
