Job summary

Autism Delaware is seeking compassionate and dependable Direct Support Professionals to support a young woman in her home on a full-time overnight shift from 11pm to 9am. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, transportation to appointments, personal care, meal preparation, and monitoring health needs.

Ideal candidates are patient, reliable, able to work independently or as part of a team, and flexible for evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Reliable, patient, and compassionate.
• Willing to work evenings, weekends, or holidays when required.
• Able to transport the individual and manage routines.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities.
• Support community participation and outings.
• Transport the individual to appointments and activities.
• Assist with personal care and hygiene.
• Support meal preparation and household routines.
• Monitor health or medical concerns.
• Support individuals with behavioral challenges.
