Acas Inc in Manassas Park, VA is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide compassionate, hands-on support to individuals with developmental disabilities in daily living activities.

You will assist with personal care, meal preparation, and hygiene, help clients participate in community activities, and document progress while collaborating with families and the care team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Compassionate and patient demeanor with a commitment to helping others.
• Experience in a direct support or caregiving role is a plus.
• Must pass background checks and obtain necessary certifications.
• Reliable transportation to travel to client locations.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to individual client needs.
