Job summary

Right at Home Lima is hiring Direct Support Professionals to join a compassionate in-home care team, delivering essential daily living support in clients' own homes.

You will provide personal care, assist with mobility, meals, and errands, while building trusted relationships and ensuring safety. Training is provided, with opportunities for growth and recognition.

Qualifications

• Performs personal care and daily living activities
• Provides companionship and social interaction
• Assists with mobility and transfers as needed
• Ensures client safety and comfort during visits

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming)
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding according to plan
• Support ambulation, transfers, and positioning
• Accompany to appointments and errands
• Light housekeeping and home safety maintenance
• Document care provided and report changes to supervisor

Essential Functions:

Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living. These could include (but are not limited to):

• Personal Hygiene

• Ambulation/Transfers

• Dressing/Shaving

• Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions

• Accompany patient on errands or medical appointments

• Performs light housekeeping activities
