We’re seeking a Digital Editor and Platforms Producer to join MSNBC Digital. You will have a deep understanding of what drives conversations online. You will be a jack-of-all-trades journalist with excellent news judgment, strong writing and copy editing skills, social and video cutting skills, a keen understanding of journalistic standards and a passion for the MSNBC brand. As an editor and producer on the MSNBC platforms team, you will help oversee MSNBC’s homepage, app, newsletters and social media channels. You will be on the frontlines, making sure that MSNBC’s platforms are accurate, dynamic and reflective of the biggest news stories of the day.

Position is based in New York City, Washington, D.C., or Los Angeles.
The schedule is 10 p.m to 6 a.m., Monday-Friday.
This position is represented by the Writers Guild of America East.

Salary range: $93,000 - $110,000.
