Job summary

Mullens Markings is seeking a Diesel Mechanic – Overnight Shift to maintain and repair our fleet of trucks and pavement marking equipment in Culpeper, VA. You will diagnose problems, perform preventive maintenance, and keep our fleet ready for operations.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of diesel mechanic experience with strong diagnostic skills and the ability to work the 7:00 PM – 5:00 AM shift. CDL is preferred; pre-employment drug screen and background check required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred.
• 2+ years of diesel mechanic experience.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with diesel, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Ability to work the 7:00 PM – 5:00 AM overnight shift.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel trucks and equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and brake systems.
• Repair hydraulic hoses.
• Complete welding and light fabrication as needed.
• Perform occasional field repairs.
• Keep accurate maintenance records.

Mullens Markings is looking for a skilled Diesel Mechanic – Overnight Shift to maintain and repair our fleet of trucks and specialized equipment. If you enjoy diagnosing problems, working independently, and taking pride in quality repairs, we'd love to hear from you.

Overnight Shift: 7:00 PM – 5:00 AM

In this role, you'll help ensure our fleet and equipment are maintained, repaired, and ready for our crews and operations.
