Job summary

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience with mobile diesel mechanics and diagnostics.
• Must have your own tools.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Strong mechanical knowledge of diesel and gasoline-powered vehicles.
• Working knowledge of computers and maintenance applications.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Use advanced diagnostic tools to address electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and minor repairs.
• Complete DVIR write-ups and address emergency breakdowns on-site.
• Make repairs to medium and heavy-duty trucks efficiently.
• Collaborate with the service desk to discuss vehicle issues.
• Conduct routine maintenance, including oil changes and battery replacements.
• Test-drive vehicles to diagnose issues.
• Stay current on warranty policies and ensure accurate completion of work orders.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience with mobile diesel mechanics and diagnostics, preferably with medium and/or heavy‑duty trucks
• Must have your own tools
• A valid driver’s license
• Strong mechanical knowledge of diesel and gasoline‑powered vehicles
• A working knowledge of computers and maintenance applications
• Ability to work independently and efficiently, with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to occasionally work Saturday hours as needed
