Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited program in radiography.
- Minimum of 3 years imaging experience in CT, Mammography, MRI or Nuclear Medicine.
- ARRT Radiologic Technologist certification; BLS within 3 months of hire; advanced modality cert within 1 year; able to rotate across two or more modalities annually.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrates understanding of imaging principles, anatomy, and pathology; selects optimal techniques/positioning for examinations.
- Communicates with patients to obtain clinical history/informed consent to assist physicians.
- Adheres to radiation protection procedures with collimation and shielding.
- Maintains a clean, safe environment; ensures rooms are stocked for procedures.
