Job summary

SYNERGY HomeCare of Conroe is seeking an experienced Overnight Caregiver who provides compassionate, competent care for clients, including those living with dementia. The right candidate is reliable, patient, and respectful, able to follow care plans and stay attentive through the night.

You will work independently overnight, deliver personal care, monitor safety, and communicate changes to the office. A valid DL, reliable transportation and auto insurance are required, along with caring

Qualifications

• Fully skilled caregiver with at least 6 months of caregiving experience and the ability to confidently provide personal care and assist with activities of daily living.
• Valid driver's license (DL) and reliable transportation.
• Current auto insurance and the ability to meet transportation requirements for the position.
• Previous dementia care experience, including the ability to respond calmly and compassionately to confusion, memory loss, and changes in behavior.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to follow care plans and report changes in a client's condition.
• Dependable, punctual, attentive, and capable of working independently overnight.
• A genuine heart for caregiving, with patience, empathy, respect, and a commitment to preserving each client's dignity.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate overnight supervision and support to ensure client safety and comfort.
• Assist with personal care, toileting, bathing, dressing, grooming, and other activities of daily living as needed.
• Support clients living with dementia using patience, reassurance, redirection, and appropriate dementia‑care techniques.
• Monitor clients throughout the shift and respond appropriately to their needs.
• Follow established care plans and communicate any changes, concerns, or incidents to the office.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
• Provide companionship, reassurance, and peace of mind for clients and their families.
