SYNERGY HomeCare of Santa Clarita is hiring Overnight Caregivers to provide compassionate, non-medical care at clients' homes. We value dementia and memory care expertise, mobility support, and safe transfers.

Qualifications

• Prior caregiving experience required (professional or personal).
• Strong experience in dementia and memory care (highly preferred).
• Experience with mobility care, transfers, and fall prevention.
• Familiarity with conditions such as Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, stroke recovery, or hospice care.
• Compassionate, patient, and attentive demeanor.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow care plans accurately.
• Calm and adaptable in changing situations.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide specialized dementia and memory care support, including redirection, routine reinforcement, and safety supervision.
• Support clients with mobility challenges, including safe ambulation, positioning, and transfers (bed, chair, toilet, etc.).
• Assist with lifting and transfer techniques using proper body mechanics.
• Offer companionship, emotional support, and meaningful engagement.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized home environment.
• Prepare meals and assist with nutrition and hydration needs.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Support clients with light exercise or short walks as appropriate.
• Observe and report any changes in client condition, behavior, or safety concerns.
