Job summary

TDP Bakery in Houston is hiring Overnight Route Drivers to deliver fresh bakery products from our Houston distribution center. Paid training, route navigation tech, and delivery vehicles are provided.

You will complete hands-on onboarding, attend Smith System training, and driver assessments to set you up for success. This full-time role offers weekend shifts, competitive pay, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Minimum 3 years of consistent driving history with a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to obtain a copy of past three-year driving record (MVR) prior to interview.
• Availability to work overnight shifts between 6 PM-6 AM, including weekends.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs regularly.
• Clean pre-employment drug screen required, including marijuana.
• Strong safety awareness, professionalism, and coachability.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections using handheld devices
• Load and organize products for delivery routes
• Safely operate a 10-foot box truck while following all traffic laws and company safety policies
• Use handheld devices and navigation tools for route management
• Deliver products accurately to stores, verify invoices, rotate stock, remove expired products, and restock according to planograms
• Maintain professional interactions with customers and store personnel
• Unload returns and clean vehicle/equipment after routes
