Job summary

Kohler Co. is seeking a Custodian for an overnight shift at Kohler, WI. Duties include cleaning floors, furnishings, restrooms, offices, and exterior areas, as well as reporting defects. Training will be provided. This onsite role runs from 9:30 pm to 6:00 am, including weekends, with a $500 sign-on bonus.

Applicants must be able to work in the US without sponsorship. Compensation ranges hourly from $14.50 to $21.70, with the rate depending on education and location.

Qualifications

• Custodial staff training provided before working independently.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain floor coverings and surfaces.
• Clean and maintain furnishings, fixtures, accessories and windows in facility.
• Clean and maintain restroom and locker room facilities.
• Clean office areas, as assigned.
• Ensure entrances are free of debris.
• Perform outdoor duties in various weather conditions.
• Report building defects to Custodial Services Coordinator.

Opportunity

Perform duties to keep the building and grounds of assigned property in neat and clean order according to quality standards.

Specific Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain floor coverings and surfaces.
• Clean and maintaining furnishings, fixtures, accessories and windows in facility.
• Clean and maintain restroom and locker room facilities.
• Clean office areas, as assigned.
• Insure inside and outside entrances are free of debris.
• Perform outdoor duties (windows, doors, trash receptacles, deck areas, rest stations) in a variety of weather conditions.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Custodial Services Coordinator.
• Report building defects to Custodial Services Coordinator.

This is an overnight position with working hours of 9:30 pm to 6:00 am, including weekends.

Skills/Requirements

• Prior custodial experience helpful, but not necessary.
• High School diploma preferred.
• Candidates are thoroughly trained to perform assigned duties.
• Required to successfully fulfill training criteria prior to working independently.

The hourly range for this position is $14.50 - $21.70. The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including candidate's education and work location.
