Job Title: Cleaner

Reports to: Club Manager

Status: Full Time/Part Time/Non-Supervisor/Non-Exempt

Job Summary: Responsible for maintaining cleanliness of all areas of the facility to ensure a positive member experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Thoroughly clean and sanitize locker rooms, fitness equipment, and gym floor.
• Stock locker room with proper paper products.
• Report broken amenities or equipment to Club Manager/Team Lead.
• Handle lost member property according to policy.

Essential Behavior Requirements:

• Customer Service: Communicate effectively to meet customer needs.
• Listening: Actively listen and empathize with customers and coworkers.
• Problem Solving: Recognize issues, analyze information, and seek solutions.
• Diplomacy: Interact tactfully and professionally.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Honesty and a strong work ethic.

Physical Demands:

• Stand and walk at least 75% of the shift.
• Use hands/fingers/arms at least 75% of the shift.
• Climb, balance, kneel, crouch less than 20% of the shift.
• Talk with members/staff less than 30% of the shift.
• Lift over 100 lbs less than 20% of the shift.
• Encounter chemicals less than 30% of the shift.
