Job Summary

The Overnight Custodian / Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of all areas of the facility to ensure a positive member experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean and sanitize restrooms, locker room areas, fitness equipment, and gym floor.
• Stock locker rooms with proper supplies and paper products.
• Properly dispose of trash and maintain trash cans.
• Clean/dust high areas such as ceiling fans, TVs, and rafters.
• Report any broken or missing amenities or equipment to the Club Manager.
• Follow the “Lost and Found Policy” and turn in lost member property promptly.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Custodial experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Punctuality and reliability are essential.
• Ability to work overnight shifts.
• Honesty and strong work ethic.
• Ability to solve problems independently.
• Use appropriate behavior and language in all interactions.
• High School diploma/GED preferred.

Physical Demands

• Stand and walk continually during shifts.
• Occasionally lift over 80 pounds.
• Handle toxic chemicals safely.
• Regularly clean and sanitize equipment and facilities.
• Move into various positions such as bending, climbing, and crouching to perform tasks.
