Job summary

Synova Group is seeking an Asleep Overnight Crisis Direct Support Professional in Minnesota. You will support adults and possibly youth in a crisis group home, focusing on stabilization and safety. Duties include daily living tasks, documentation, and crisis response.

The role requires 18+ years old, a high school diploma or GED preferred, a valid driver's license, access to an insured vehicle, and DHS background clearance. Training is provided in the Brooklyn Park area.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a high school diploma or GED preferred.
• Have experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred.
• Possess a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and maintain a clean driving record.
• Have access to an insured vehicle.
• Successfully pass a DHS background study.
• Have basic computer skills for documentation and communication.

Responsibilities

• Build meaningful relationships and support individuals in developing friendships and community connections.
• Assist with daily routines such as cooking, household tasks, personal care, hygiene, social activities, and leisure activities.
• Support health and safety needs, money management, and behavior support strategies.
• Administer medications according to training and company procedures.
• Provide transportation to appointments, activities, and community outings.
• Document services, activities, and important events using an online documentation system.
• Encourage independence while providing the level of support each individual needs.
• Lead or participate in crisis intervention as trained.
