Job summary

Synova Group seeks an Overnight Crisis Direct Support Professional to work in a Minnesota adult crisis group home, providing compassionate support to individuals in emotional or mental health crises and helping them reach personal goals. You will assist with daily routines, safety, and documentation, and may travel within the community when needed.

Successful candidates demonstrate crisis intervention skills, dependability, and a passion for supporting individuals with complex needs.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have a high school diploma or GED preferred.
• Have experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred.
• Possess a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and maintain a clean driving record.
• Have access to an insured vehicle.
• Successfully pass a DHS background study.
• Have basic computer skills for documentation and communication.

Responsibilities

• Build meaningful relationships and support individuals in developing friendships and community connections.
• Assist with daily routines such as cooking, household tasks, personal care, hygiene, social activities, and leisure activities.
• Support individuals with health and safety needs, money management, and behavior support strategies.
• Administer medications according to training and company procedures.
• Provide transportation to appointments, activities, and community outings.
• Document services, activities, and important events using an online documentation system.
• Encourage independence while providing the level of support each individual needs.
