Job summary

Spurwink is hiring an Overnight Crisis Service Provider for its soon-to-open Lewiston Crisis Center, offering urgent behavioral health stabilization and short-term intervention 24/7. The role works with individuals aged 14+ in a trauma-informed, culturally sensitive setting and focuses on safety, dignity, and recovery.

The successful candidate will coordinate service plans, document progress, and link clients to community resources while operating in a fast-paced crisis environment.

Qualifications

• MHRT-C certification or MHRT-C eligible, or a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor or Employment Specialist, or a Certified or Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor.
• Associate's degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Maine driver's license, reliable transportation, and clean driving record per Spurwink Driving Policy.

Responsibilities

• Maintain client records and documentation according to Spurwink standards and licensing rules.
• Oversee implementation of Individual Service Plan and monitor progress.
• Maintain regular contact with team members and other professionals involved with the client.
• Identify and assess risk factors and connect clients and families to resources.
• Provide support through phone contact and face-to-face meetings via home visits and outreach.
