Helio Health in Rochester, NY seeks an Overnight Counselor Aide for the Inpatient Program. The role supports residents with mental health and addiction services on the overnight shift, with two schedule options.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Customer service and/or human services experience preferred.
• Valid NYS Driver's License, based on service settings.
• Bilingual Spanish and English skills encouraged and valued.

Responsibilities

• Assists with counseling responsibilities: screening, intake, orientation, referral, counseling, crisis response, education, case management, reporting and records.
• Participates in program administrative and clinical committees as assigned.
• Represents the agency to the community.
• Performs quality assurance activities.
• Displays knowledge of addiction/recovery and counseling principles.
